The ideal candidate will work alongside our senior team to assist in creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, RFP applications, and other software-related documentation. Our goal is to find a self-motivated individual who can take a task and execute it with the support of our existing team. Your role will encompass all of the various business avenues to create technical and consumer-facing documentation. This candidate should have strong communication skills, which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities
- Explain technical ideas in simple language
- Complete RFP applications with support from the senior leadership team
- Document internal processes
- Assist with client communication
- Communicate between teams
- Create marketing blog content about internal projects and strategies
- Meet with customer representatives to establish technical specifications
- Create user documentation for a variety of material
Qualifications
- Experience in the software technology industry is encouraged
- Experience with government and RFP application process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to understand highly technical information and software jargon
- Some coding or design skills are also appreciated
