Civil Engineer

Oak Point Associates is a dynamic, full-service architecture and engineering firm with 70+ employees and two offices (in Portsmouth, NH and Biddeford, ME). We work on projects of all sizes, with our largest market sectors being in educational design (K-12 and University/College) and Federal Government contracts. We are seeking a full-time, detail-oriented and talented engineer to join our civil department in our Portsmouth or Biddeford office.
Responsibilities Include:
Preparation of construction plans and details.
Preparation of contract specifications.
Preparation of engineering reports, studies and permit applications.
Preparation of engineering calculations.
Cost Estimating.
Field investigations and surveys to document existing conditions.
Observations/inspections of ongoing construction projects.
Coordination of subconsultants
Interdisciplinary coordination.
Coordination with utility companies, municipalities, agencies and boards
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
Minimum of 5 years of related experience
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience required
Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
Strong written and oral communications
Must be a U.S. Citizen
