We are seeking a Machinist for our Bridgeville site with CNC and/or Manual experience.

This position is available for 2nd shift. Work hours: Monday to Friday 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm.
And also available for 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday 11:30 pm to 7:30 am.
Will depend on candidate's preference or availability.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to efficiently and effectively set up and operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills, including a variety of turned parts and castings.
- Read and interpret drawings using conventional tolerances as well as geometric tolerances
- Adjust speeds and feeds to maximize machining productivity.
- Machine parts to close tolerances (.001”) from raw material and/or castings in the most efficient manner while understanding safety and quality requirements.
- Operate/machine parts as required to meet drawing specifications.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience cutting metal using CNC or Manual machines.
- Ability to accurately measure tolerances using micrometers, calipers, tri-mics, etc.
- Ability to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of layout and set up of castings and raw material.
- Ability to read and follow route sheets/blueprints.
- Work well with people.
- Product/process knowledge.
- Self-starter.
- High level of organization skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Technical or vocational certifications in CNC or Manual Machining preferred.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Programming ability a plus, but not required.
- The knowledge and skill to utilize overhead cranes safely is a plus.
