Who You Are:
As an Assistant Global Merchant you will assist our Global Mainline Accessories Merchandising team. You are energetic, collaborative, has strong communication and are results driven. You can thrive in a rapidly changing environment, are curious, and ready to learn!
What You’ll Do:
• Support the Global Accessories Merchandising team with line development and assortment strategies.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify and analyze emerging trends within the competitive landscape.
• Own PLM (Product Line Management) system data entry and integrity.
• Create and maintain offline assortment tools and guides.
• Build strong cross functional relationships with Product Development, Design, Visual Merchandising, and Fashion Office.
• Communicate product and assortment updates to cross functional and global buying teams in a timely manner.
• Responsible for management of samples during showroom setup & market.
• Assist in managing Merchandising calendar with key developments and market milestones.
You’ll Need to Have:
• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and/or +1 year of related experience in Merchandising, or relevant internships
• Computer Literate – Strong Excel Skills
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week.
