Clinical Nurse Manager | San Jose | Onsite
Salary/Wage Range: $132,181 - $158,617 annually+ Equity (Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications)
The Clinical Nurse Manager is well-versed in people development, management, and RN-level nursing care. This role maintains accountability for all functions of the clinic and clinic team, ensuring that policies and workflows are clearly understood and followed by all team members.
Essential Job Duties:
- Operate a high-performing, well-equipped, and safe clinic, ensuring workflow efficiency, clarity, and adherence to protocols.
- Hire, retain, coach, develop, and supervise RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, Medical Assistants, and other clinic team members to ensure engagement and well-being.
- Analyze data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, performing root cause analysis, evaluating care delivery processes, and making recommendations for changes to strategies, workflows, and policies to continuously improve clinic operations.
- Ensure nursing and clinic staff deliver and correctly document interventions as outlined in participants’ care plans, including responding promptly and accurately to physician orders, completing assessments, and actively participating in care planning for all assigned participants.
- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of coordination and services in collaboration with medical practice leadership, providers, case managers, and other relevant interdisciplinary team disciplines.
- Collaborate with the Quality Improvement Director to serve as the audit lead for clinical and nursing elements during CMS/DHCS audit reviews, developing and monitoring corrective action plans to ensure ongoing compliance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other healthcare-related field preferred; professional experience may be substituted.
- Unencumbered registered nurse (RN) state license required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience overseeing an ambulatory clinic operation, including RN, LVN, and MA staff; equivalent nurse leader experience in a high-volume outpatient setting may be substituted.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population.
