This is a professional position in which the advanced practice clinician (APC) provides outpatient and/or inpatient care to patients seen within Scripps Clinic. The APC will work collegially with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and support staff within the Scripps healthcare system.

The APC will practice autonomously and in coordination with Scripps Clinic physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to provide quality, safe, compassionate, and cost-effective health care to a diverse patient population.

Qualifications-
- Successful completion of a program of study that conforms to Board standards
- Possession of a valid California license to practice as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Possession of or the ability to sit for national certification in a specialty area
- Possession of or the ability to apply for a furnishing number from the state of California
- Possession of or the ability to apply for a DEA number
- Knowledge of professional fee billing and reimbursement methodologies
- Demonstrated skill in handling sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and successfully in a multi-priority environment
- Positive, cooperative, and professional demeanor
- Demonstrated skill in electronic medical records
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office software
