MUST:
- 7+ years of experience as a project manager
- 2 years of marketing PM experience
- Data and budget analysis/financial analysis within marketing projects
- Experience working with multiple marketing agencies
- Analysis of marketing agency data
- Strong experience finding efficiencies in marketing budgets when using agencies
- Strong experience with driving marketing processes (this task should take 60 hours but you’re billing 100 hours)
- Strong with managing process/working in excel/ and working with data- not putting out creative content/not a Creative PM
- Process analysis, look at data, not creative
- Ability to speak with procurement and negotiate marketing contracts with agencies/speaking to procurement partners
- Strong budgeting experience
- Agile project management experience

DAY TO DAY:
Our client, a large pharma client is seeking an experienced PM to come aboard their team for a large project. At a high level, the project is to analyze marketing spend and see where our client can find efficiencies. The client has a ton of agency spend, and they are looking to leverage data and quantity efficiencies within marketing, and then in turn they can renegotiate their marketing contracts. The PM should be familiar with marketing campaigns so they can spot efficiencies and be able to question efforts around marketing account management spend. This includes: analyzing marketing efficiencies, leveraging data, quantity efficiencies within marketing, renegotiate and help with negotiate marketing contracts within procurement teams. The Marketing PM should come in with experience with the following: stakeholder management, collaboration with procurement teams, workstream mapping, and experience working with multiple marketing agencies. In addition, the Project Manager will work with the client team to drive efficiencies/productivity across their creative spend, through partner negotiation, process streamlining and establishing technology pilots.
