Russell Tobin's client, a well-known retail company, is hiring for a Communications Planning and Execution Specialist in Columbus, OH
This position is to provide maternity leave coverage for a key team member and to support the development of comprehensive integrated communication plans for Q3 and Q4.

Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid
Location: Columbus, OH (Locals preferred)
Contract Length: 5 months
Pay rate: $25-$36/hr, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Support and execute Integrated Communications strategies and programming.
- Help establish the overarching Integrated Communications process, editorial calendar, and key milestones across cross-functional and agency partners for program development and execution.
- Conduct narrative mining, messaging alignment, channel planning, and support media experiences and sampling needs as appropriate.
- Assist the Sr. Manager of Comms Planning and VP of Comms with the program intake process for key internal clients, ensuring consistency in the development of Communications Plans across the business.
- Support the coordination and execution of tasks and special projects across the total Communications team.
Requirements:
- Strategic communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Experience in project management.

- Communications experience with a major retail brand.
Workload: Day-to-day tasks include narrative mining, messaging alignment, channel planning, supporting media experiences, and sampling needs. Assist with program intake processes and support special projects.
