Seeking Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Sacramento (North) with Flexible Schedule
We are seeking a full-time or a part-time Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices in Long-Term Care facilities. The job description of a nurse practitioner includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests, prescribing medications & treatment options, counseling & educating and overseeing patients’ health. You will both be a health practitioner and an educator, supporting disease prevention practices and helping people lead healthy lives. You should have experience in one of the following Nurse Practitioner specialties: Geriatric/Gerontology/Acute care, Cardiology, Family Health, Women’s Health or Psychiatry. If you do not have any experience in this area, we will train you.
Facilities are located in North of Sacramento, California
It is an autonomous position, with flexible work schedule. You make your day and time to do your rounds in the facilities at your own schedule from Monday to Sunday.
Skills Required:
* Effectively identifying, evaluating and acting on disease prevention and health promotion issues of long-term care residents while administering quality patient care.
* Working in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff.
* Diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic and long-term health care.
* Educating patients and/or family members about preventive care, medical issues and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medication
Qualifications:
Must possess California State RN and NP licenses, Master's Degree in Nursing, National Board Certification, and DEA license.
Pluses: Must have a passion for working with the geriatric population

· The Offer: Hourly Rate: $80.00-$90.00/hour. Eligible for bi-weekly bonus
