Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse at Emory Healthcare in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area. The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurse will be responsible for providing expert nursing care, education, and support to patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence disorders. The nurse will assess patients' conditions, develop and implement care plans, provide direct patient care, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited WOC Nursing Education program.
- Must achieve certification in Wound Care and Ostomy Care within 12 months.
- Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (CWOCN) is preferred.
- Expertise in Ostomy Care, Wound Care, and Medicine.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
- BLS required.
