Introduction:
Criterion is an Owasso, OK based commercial real estate company looking for a Director of Marketing/Communications to drive promotion and advertising. Responsibilities include developing an overall marketing plan, approving campaigns and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods. We’re looking for a highly skilled marketing director to help us promote our offerings and identify what consumers want so we can create more to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding. This person must be able to lead a team of writers, designers, and account managers and interact with clients on a regular basis. The role also requires a deep understanding of what makes people tick, as well as a drive to deliver solutions that make a difference.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
• Analyze metrics in order to find which campaigns are most effective
• Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
• Work with other departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new investors and keep current clients
• Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company
• Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts investors

Objectives of this role:
- Collaborate with business team to uncover insights for developing marketing and branding strategies
- Oversee and grow the marketing department by identifying new opportunities among established investors and by securing new investors
- Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget and expenditures
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, campaign results, trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the management team
Responsibilities:
- Lead development of marketing strategy to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our podcast
- Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations
- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive investor interest and sales
- Conduct meetings to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standard
- Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis
Required skills and qualifications:
- Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications
