What a Machine Operator will do:- Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with the goal of increasing productivity, decreasing downtime and waste
- Conduct quality checks to ensure the product meets the required dimensions and there are zero material defects
- Problem-solve when issues arise with equipment
- Operate all die-cutting / folding & gluing equipment accurately and efficiently, according to job ticket instructions
- Perform preventative maintenance daily, weekly, and monthly on equipment such as lubrication, replacement of small parts, cleaning, and minor adjustments
- Keep the department clean and well-organized
- Cross-train on other equipment for coverage when needed during high workload and responsible for cross-training on die-cut / folding & gluing equipment
What you need to be a Machine Operator:- 2+ years of experience as a die-cut & folder/gluer operator on Moll Regal Folder/Gluer and Moll Flex cut 760 or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and possess problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously
- Willingness to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel
- Ability to communicate and understand written as well as oral instructions
- Ability to troubleshoot problems effectively – requires an analytical approach to problem-solving
