Summit Construction Group is an exterior construction company looking to hire a full time CPA as a staff accountant. Job is in office. Salary negotiable based on candidate and prior experience. We are a fast growing company looking to build out our accounting department, significant advancement potential for the right person
This is a FT, in-person position. WFH and Hybrid is not available.
Qualifications:
CPA and tax experience is REQUIRED
Experience with job cost implementation and/or transition from cash to accrual accounting would be a plus
Preparation and interpretation of financial reports
Must have significant experience with Quickbooks and Excel
Experience with Insurance Claims, Construction (Exteriors), and/or Acculynx is preferred
High level organization skills, forward thinking, able to take ownership of major projects
Job duties will consist of the following:
Use our systems and create your own for performing the above tasks, and find current inefficiencies to improve our systems.
Assist with preparation and documentation of company taxes
Manage Company AP
Managing the Mechanic's Lien process with our outside attornies
Creating and sending lien waivers
Correspond with outside accountant for tax tasks
Pay material supplier invoices and file receipts
Manage company QSEHRA reimbursements
Track and verify employee expense receipts
Salary is negotiable based on on the candidate and prior experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
