Survey Party Chief

WHS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Survey Party Chief to be part of our growing team based out of our Rock Springs, WY office. Our Civil Engineering and Land Surveying team offer support for all public and private projects delivering expertise for a wide range of municipal, commercial, oil/gas, and industrial clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete job priorities in the field as defined and established by company
Project planning, organization, and scheduling
Determine client/employer needs from existing and new work generated
Maintaining communication and information for the office and drafting team
Maintaining GPS equipment, UTV and Truck
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Daily JSA's and Field notes
AutoCAD Drafting
Ability to work 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Additional time may be required at night or over the weekend depending on project deadlines.
Other duties as directed
SKILLS:
Crew/Survey Helper management experience
Requires the capability of working within a variety of industries including but not limited to: Oil
& Gas, Construction & Development, and Government related projects
Understanding & application of field notes
Understanding of and ability to read and work with blueprints and CAD drawings.
Knowledge of Trimble GPS equipment and TBC
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD Civil3D/Carlson.
Ability to manage project folders and files to company standards
Outstanding communication skills
Reading and understanding of numbers and calculations
Understanding and following Policies and Procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
5+ years of relevant work experience.
3+ years Party Chief Experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
