Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Educator/Preceptor to join our team on a project basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to train the next generation of EP lab staff members (nurses and techs) while leveraging your extensive expertise. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of dedicated EP lab experience, proficiency in multiple EP systems, and the flexibility to travel across the country.

- Consulting Services: Offering expert advice on starting and optimizing EP labs, including feasibility studies, regulatory compliance, and market demand analysis.
- Staff Training: Providing in-depth training programs for EP lab staff to ensure high standards of care and operational efficiency.
- Operational Optimization: Streamlining workflows, improving procedure turnaround times, and enhancing overall lab efficiency.
- Administrative Support: Assisting with the development of administrative procedures, quality oversight, and comprehensive follow-up care plans.

Our expertise spans across regulatory and financial domains, clinical training, and operational management, making us a trusted partner for EP/Cath labs looking to achieve excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured single-day and multi-day on-site training programs to EP and Cath Labs across the US.
- Conduct both lecture and hands-on didactic sessions for small class sizes (usually no more than 8 participants).
- Travel to various locations across the country to provide on-site training.
- Occasionally travel to Plano, Texas for administrative meetings.
- Collaborate on curriculum writing and class preparation.
- Educate staff on a range of EP systems, including Abbott, Carto, CardioLab, MicroPlace, and X-ray.
- Share expertise in all types of EP procedures, such as ablation, implanted devices, and left atrial appendage occlusion.
- Implement and instruct on safety protocols and best practices within EP labs.
- Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of different labs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of dedicated EP lab experience.
- Proficiency in multiple EP systems, including Abbott, Carto, CardioLab, MicroPlace, and X-ray.
- Flexibility to travel across the country for training sessions.
- Experience in various EP labs is preferred.
- Current employment in an EP lab position is required.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all types of EP procedures, including ablation, implanted devices, and left atrial appendage occlusion.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices within EP labs.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Computer and tech-savviness.
