As a part of the Walt Disney World® Resort fine dining leadership team, you will oversee the team to achieve extraordinary service and create a luxury experience for guests from all over the world. You'll be part of a tradition of excellence that extends generations. Our Fine Dining Restaurant Managers are committed to ensure Cast Members feel safe, welcomed and supported. You will orchestrate leading hourly employees, managing the daily logistics of the operations while making decisions to support financial and service goals.
If selected for this role, you will report to the location's F&B Proprietor.
What You Will DoDevelop and inspire staff to determine clear performance goals, a progression career path and support them to achieve these goals
Demonstrate a passion for food & beverage service while providing genuine hospitality to Guests
Observe working conditions to ensure adherence to Guest service standards, compliance standards and food safety/sanitation guidelines and seek opportunities for improvement
Work with partners to adapt operations to ensure seamless Guest and Cast experiences
Maintain appropriate staffing levels and schedules of operations
Manage the team's delivery of exceptional service and meeting Guest rating goals
Support decisions to accomplish financial targets
Required Qualifications & Skills1+ year of leadership experience overseeing a food & beverage team in a fine dining restaurant
Dedicated desire to motivate and mentor employees, with the ability to navigate and lead amidst constant change
Commitment to promote an inclusive work environment that supports workforce diversity and diverse perspectives
Knowledge of AAA Four and Five Diamond Standards
Advanced knowledge of wine and spirits
Available to commit to work any day of the week during any shift including weekends, nights and holidays
Understand the impact of financial aspects of an operation (i.e. operating budget, revenue, labor, inventory systems, food cost)
Preferred QualificationsBeverage certifications (Cicerone, Sommelier)
Experience leading a team of unionized workers
Fluency in multiple languages, like Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Vietnamese
