Outpatient Nurse Manager / RN, Urology
Shift: Full Time, 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
Location: The Emory Clinic, 5673 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd NE, Atlanta, GA
We are seeking a capable
Nurse Manager who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients, and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population.
- Plans, coordinates and directs the daily operations of a specific section/division.
- Supervises clinical staff and facilitates communication with physicians and internal administrators to provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
- Is recognized as a change agent and routinely leads efforts to strengthen organizational systems that support the mission, vision, and values of the department.
- Adept at creative problem-solving, negotiating conflict, and collaborating with others.
- Demonstrates insight, judgment, and clinically sound risk-taking.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of experience as an RN with one (1) year of experience in a leadership capacity.
- All nurses employed in roles requiring an unencumbered nursing license must have a valid, active license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Certification preferred.
- BLS required and ACLS certifications may be required in designated departments.
