AAST is a newly approved public charter school that is serving its students for the 3rd year. AAST will be serving grades 6 to 12 in this upcoming school year. The school provides a rigorous, integrated Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education that supports whole student development and pathways to college and careers in STEM. This program nurtures collaboration among teachers, parents, and school leadership while improving student learning and student achievement through implementation of the Three Frames of Success Model. Qualifications desired (but not limited to):
Minnesota teaching license (traditional or alternative pathways both welcome)
Success working with diverse students
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with peers
Willingness to receive coaching and instructional feedback
Willingness and eagerness to integrate STEM across the curriculum

Availability to coach a basketball team
