Job Description
Purpose:
In addition to performing imaging procedures at an advanced level, coordinates workflow, assists with projects and coordinates educational activities. Functions as a working technologist and distributes workload to ensure efficient operations.
This position will work primarily daylight, with availability to work off-shifts and weekends if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with quality assurance projects and assists in the development of exam protocols alongside of or in place of advanced technologists and communicates results back to departmental leadership.
- Assists in talent acquisition interviews for successful recruitment of technologist candidates and provides feedback for annual performance reviews.
- Coordinates daily workflow and schedule of the department while maintaining staffing levels based on, but not limited to, call offs, vacations, patient volumes, and training needs.
- Performs all responsibilities of Diagnostic Tech I and Advanced Diagnostic Tech II.
- Leads orientation and training for new hires, students and other medical personnel; ensures competencies are completed in the required time frame. Responsible for offering remediation with technologists when necessary
- Assumes the leadership role in the absence of the supervisor
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology. 3 years Diagnostic Imaging experience required. Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:ARRT certified in Radiography. CPR or BLS Required.CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
