Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- TN RN License
- 2 years experience
- BLS
- ACLS
- Must have Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience
- Experience with bipaps, high flow 02 and multiple oxygen delivery systems skills needed
- Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care skills needed
- Experience with tube feedings and NG/dobhoff tubes skills needed
- Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills
Other Details: - Documentation system: Meditech
- May have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors
- Number of Beds : 630 has 34 beds/ 633 has 25
- Patient Ratios : 1:4 to 1:5 on days, 1:5 to 1:6 on nights
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 3 techs when full on 630 and 2 techs when full on 633
- Type of equipment : bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis. Wound vacs in conjunction with wound care
- Patient Experience requirements: hourly rounding on days, every 2 hour rounding on nights, AIDET and keeping up with communication boards on 7th floor. Dept 633 has tv communication boards.

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.
Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
