Position Overview:
As a Paid Search Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing paid search campaigns across various platforms to drive traffic, conversions, and revenue while minimizing CPA. You will play a critical role in optimizing our digital advertising efforts, analyzing performance metrics, and staying abreast of industry trends to ensure maximum ROI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and execution of paid search strategies aligned with company objectives, including keyword research, ad copy creation, and bid management.
- This role is more focused on paid search strategies rather than paid search execution.
- Maintain an understanding of how paid search and Google Display channels operation as a function within the broader picture of performance marketing.
- Manage and optimize PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant channels.
- Conduct regular performance analysis and make data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
- Monitor budgets, adjust bids, and allocate resources to maximize ROI and achieve target KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and analytics, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continuously enhance campaign performance.
- Conduct A/B and other forms of testing and implement innovative strategies to improve campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Stay informed about competitive landscape and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Stay compliant with advertising policies and regulations, ensuring all campaigns adhere to best practices and guidelines.
- Become an expert in our third party paid search management software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience managing paid search campaigns, preferably in a similar industry or environment.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, MSFT Ads, Google Analytics, and other relevant advertising platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities of various clients.
- Certification in Google Ads or other relevant advertising platforms is a plus.
- Experience with paid YouTube ads and Google Display Network is a plus
- Proficiency in SQL or Python is a plus.
