Job Summary:
McLain & Merritt, a well-established, mid-sized Buckhead law firm, seeks attorneys with 2-7 years' experience to handle interest, fast-paced premises liability cases, trials, and other litigation matters. The attorney would be actively involved in client and witness meetings, drafting motions and briefs, depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and trials for Fortune 500 clients. Duties:
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
- Conduct legal research and analysis.
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Provide legal advice to clients in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association.
- Proven experience in litigating cases and legal research.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to draft legal documents effectively.
- Knowledge of various areas of law including personal injury.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
