BCBA - Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
The Friends of Cyrus Day Habilitation Center is a private corporation that proudly offers skill
development, prevocational and vocational training services to adults with developmental disabilities
in Burlington County, New Jersey.
FOC-DH helps individuals with disabilities reach their full potential by providing training in activities
of daily living, communication, personal, social, prevocational, and self-advocacy skill to prepare
them for living independently and becoming progressively self-reliant.
The FOC-DH is searching for a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst!
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Responsibilities:
BCBA is responsible for assessing the needs of clients within three habilitation centers, and
developing individualized behavior programs as needed
Educate the direct support staff on the proper response based on individualized behavior
modification plan for each client
Supervise the application of behavior modification plans in the day hab setting
Identify skill level of clients and identify the skill deficiencies in all categories
Plan and customize activities with short-term goals to fit the skill level of the clients to move
them closer to their personal or family development goals
Teach and supervise delivery of the customize activities to direct support staff assigned to
each client
Monitor the interaction between the direct support staff and clients to ensure proper delivery
of the scripted activity to meet the client's needs and learning level
Develop a set of objective measures of performance for each client to assess their weekly
progress
Continuous monitoring of the client's progress and skill development plan
Develop and supervise individualized ABA programs for clients in the home, clinic and
community settings
Develop, lead, supervise, and mentor a team of behavior technicians
Supervise RBT's and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB
Review all session notes and data taken by RBT's to monitor client progress and RBT
proficiency
Collaborate with other BCBA's and Related Services professionals
Provide parent training to ensure continuation of onsite skill development at in home setting
Maintain a positive working relationship with the client's family and respond to guardian
questions in a timely and professional manner
Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with parents, team members, and professionals to
ensure optimal client progress and outcomes
Participate in weekly team meetings
Engage in and ensure client safety
Always maintain confidentiality of all clients as well as a professional conduct.
Ensure effective, thorough, and timely written communication on all documentation
Board Certified Behavioral Analyst Qualifications:
Master's degree in related field is required.
National certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst is required.
Minimum of four (4) years' experience working with adults with disabilities.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience writing behavior plans.
