Ear, Nose and Throat Care Center is looking for a full-time Audiologist to join our busy private practice. We are a small practice, with a family orientated relationship between all employees, that strives to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. We are looking for the right addition to join our office whose central focus is to provide clinical best practices with a patient centered approach.
The ideal candidate must possess a caring, energetic, and positive "can do" attitude. The position requires close attention to detail, and good time management while providing the best possible experience for patients.
Job Description:
Conducts comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments for all ages, communicating results with referring physicians as appropriate
Dispenses hearing aids with use of real ear measurements
Evaluates and repairs hearing aids
Manage drop off hearing aids
Performs cochlear implant candidacy evaluations, activations, and remapping
Performs osseointegrated candidacy evaluations and programming
Dispenses FM assistive listening systems and other assistive listening devices
Conducts follow up programming/evaluations for patients
Earmold fittings for purpose of hearing protection and water protection
Maintain clinical records in a timely fashion
Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Audiology
Current States of Illinois Audiology license
Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
Position Details:
Full time, 40 hours per week ( 4 days)
