Job Description
Schedule: (3x12 hour shifts: 7a-7p / 7p-7a)
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on company policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current California RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS provider cards
- Certified in field of specialty (CCRN, Trauma) preferred
- Critical Care course or equivalent experience preferred
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year ICU acute hospital experience required
- Cardio-Vascular (open heart) experience preferred
- Trauma Care experience preferred
- 1 year EPIC experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills
