Pay Range: $65.00 - $68.00 / HR
Shifts: NIGHTS - 8P-830A - 3 DAYS PER WEEK AND EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to pediatric patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to manage stress effectively, and a commitment to professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients by utilizing the nursing process, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring consistency with medical regimens.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate and supervise care provided by nursing personnel, including LPNs, RNs on permit, and other support staff, while actively participating in multidisciplinary team discussions.
- Patient Assessment & Communication: Continuously assess, evaluate, and document patient conditions, ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team and timely adjustments to care plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in pediatric care
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Competency in caring for children with asthma, sickle cell, diabetes, vent/tracheostomy, and gastrostomy tubes
Preferred:
- Board Certification in Pediatrics
- 1 year of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
