Job Description
A Mountain Home, Idaho based client is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join the outpatient primary care department at a local hospital. An ideal candidate should practice excellent, evidence-based patient care, and should be comfortable treating all ages. Applicants should have 1 year of experience to apply.
Required Qualifications
- ID PA license
- DEA certificate before start date
- CPR certification
- Board certified in field
- 1+ year of experience
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages in emergency department
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results
- Perform therapeutic procedures with prioritizing preventative care
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy
