Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide speech therapy services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and adults
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
Experience:
- Minimum of2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist
- Experience working in a hospital or medical setting, preferably in critical care or acute care
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech therapy
Skills:
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans
- Ability to provide patient-centered care and adapt treatment approaches based on individual needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Knowledge of various speech therapy techniques and interventions
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
