Position Title: Echocardiograph Sonographer
Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 for 2+ years experience
Relocation Assistance: Available
Hours: 4 - 10 hour shifts
On-Call: Weekends, Holidays, After Hours (starting at 6:30PM); 30-minute call response time
Position Summary: The Echocardiograph Sonographer performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures. The role involves calculating, measuring, and documenting appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. The sonographer will communicate with physicians, managers, and co-workers regarding changes in patients' clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram procedures.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified with the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS)
- BLS Certification
- 3+ years of experience as an Echocardiograph Sonographer in all modalities of Echo/Vascular for adult and geriatric patients
- 1+ years of experience in in-patient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent population highly preferred
- Must have experience with TEE, Stress Echo, Vascular Ultrasound
- Structural Heart experience preferred
