JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a premier nephrology practice located in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The NP will be providing essential patient care on behalf of supervising physicians. As an NP, your responsibilities include intentional rounding, assessing, treating, and managing patients within your scope of practice and in compliance with state regulatory requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- Graduated from an accredited Registered Nurse program; maintain certification by meeting CME requirements.
- Current State license as RN and NP
- Ability to communicate effectively and be empathetic
- Must have experience rounding
- Flexibility to travel between clinics/hospitals
- Rounding Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUITES
- Utilize your clinical knowledge and skills to assess patient needs thoroughly.
- Complete and meticulously document initial and ongoing assessments according to policy.
- Prioritize treatment based on medical and nursing diagnoses, patient history, and expected outcomes.
- Advocate for patient rights, always ensuring safety while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ensure that written communication is clear, legible, and objective.
- Uphold a respectful and dignified approach toward patients and staff.
- Take responsibility for maintaining a sanitary and safe clinic environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, fostering a cooperative atmosphere.
- Adhere to generally recognized standards of professional ethics and applicable guidelines.
- Provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with the Practice Manager.
- Participate in rounds with physicians and deliver appropriate assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
- Be willing to travel to other clinics to provide care to patients.
