Full-time:
We are currently seeking Class A CDL Truck Regional Truck Driver. This position will drive a day cab semi-tractor trailer, and/or box truck to pick up new and used electronic equipment from customer locations local and regionally. Loads vary from live loads to drop and hooks. The semi trucks include a 2023 or newer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures that the semi-truck and trailer are fully equipped and in proper working condition prior to departure and after arrival, conducting pre and post checks.
Successfully executes a combination of live loads, drop and hooks, and occasional double drops.
Ensures the security and safety of data and material while in transit with padlocks, safe driving etc.
Ensures client's needs are met in a professional and courteous manner.
Effectively communicates with the supervisor on trailer movements, loads, emergencies, roadside assistance etc.
Follows all FMCSA, DOT, safety , security, R2/ISO/OSHA, and fire safety standards.
Successfully utilize provided electronic logging devices ensuring compliance with all required rules and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
No Felony Convictions, DUI or Serious Violations
Must be able to pass DOT physical, physical ability test (PAT), background check, pre-employment drug screen and road test
Must have and maintain a Valid Class A CDL driver's license without an E restriction (for manual transmissions), have a clean driving record and be insurable.
Must have a valid DOT physical exam certification and be able to maintain future DOT physical exam certification.
Must have at least 10 years of experience driving professionally.
Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting/driving following all applicable FMCSA/DOT laws etc.
Must be comfortable working in the elements (rain, snow, hot, cold) as required and needed.
Must be comfortable with company culture and values including punctuality, good attendance, individual accountability, and encouraging/ reinforcing teamwork.
Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and self-driven/motivated and able to effectively communicate with fellow employees and management.
Must be a responsible person that is comfortable working, at times, independently and in a diverse work environment.
Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
