Responsibilities of the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor:
- Supervises care staff, assists in the allocation of caseloads, coordinates activities related to mental health and substance abuse treatment, and completes performance evaluation
- Provides leadership in training and oversight of crisis response team
- Actively participates in meetings, case reviews, supervisory sessions, etc.
- Participates in patient care by developing plans for provision and services
- Assessment and case management, planning, including revision of care plans for patients not progressing, collaborating with billing provider via participation in psych consults
- Proven ability to ensure compliance with regulatory standards within the healthcare industry
- Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Minimum Requirements of the Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor:
- Active LCSW, LMFT, or PhD
- 2 years of clinical experience in the realm of Behavioral Health
- 1 year of clinical supervisory experience
- Completion of the BBS Supervisory Training Course
- California licensed or eligible to obtain
