We are actively recruiting a BE/BC Endocrinologist to join a well-established, dynamic, and rapidly expanding diverse endocrinology practice in Indiana. As part of a major referral center for northeast and north central Indiana, southern Michigan, and northwest Ohio, the practice is a division of a respected healthcare group. This outpatient, employed position offers a full-time schedule with 36 contact hours per week, allowing for flexibility with either a 4 or 5-day workweek. The anticipated patient volume is approximately 20 daily, and part-time candidates will also be considered. As an Endocrinologist, you will address the full spectrum of endocrinological diseases and conditions, including diabetes I and II, gestational diabetes, thyroid disease (including cancer), pituitary and adrenal diseases, fluid and electrolyte disorders, diabetes insipidus, calcium disorders and osteoporosis, hypogonadism, neuroendocrine tumors, and endocrine hypertension. The practice provides a range of services, including insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems, radioiodine administration, thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspiration, DEXA scan interpretation, administration of medications for endocrine disorders, and stimulation and suppression testing. Additionally, the practice boasts an excellent diabetes educator. Call responsibilities are light, with after-hour calls answered initially by nurse practitioners. After-hours and weekend coverage may be rotated, providing a favorable work-life balance. The clinic is attached to the hospital, and inpatient hospital coverage is managed by advanced practice nurses, with phone backup from endocrinologists.
