Locum Tenens Obstetrics & Gynecology Physicians needed for NC Position Work Dates Needed: September1, 2024, Ongoing Preferred Schedule: 7a-7a Call Shift, M-F 8-5 Clinic hours Worksite Setting: Clinic and Beeper Call Scope of Work: The provider will manage both low and high-risk pregnancies, including performing and interpreting FHR (NST/CST/FSE) and OB ultrasounds. They will handle routine and complicated deliveries, such as vaginal, low forceps, C-sections, breech, and multiple births, as well as repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations. They will also perform surgical gynecology, including open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and major operative procedures. The provider will assist with clinic coverage, round on antepartum and postpartum patients, respond to emergency department consultations, and manage maternal transport from outside facilities. Annual Deliveries: 600 Patient Census: A average of 4-6 patients in the hospital and up to 15 patients in the clinic, with rounding typically in the morning.
