Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Infusion Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is a permanent position in the medical industry, offering an excellent opportunity to play an integral role in patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications and therapeutic solutions through injections and intravenous infusions, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction. This role demands a strong understanding of IV therapy, pain management, and rheumatology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Administering intravenous infusions and injections to patients under the guidance of a physician.
- Monitoring patients during infusions and responding to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Educating patients and their families about the infusion process, potential side effects, and aftercare.
- Maintaining accurate, detailed reports and records of patients' treatments, reactions, and progress.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Practicing infection control standards to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Participating in patient care conferences and maintaining continuous communication with the healthcare team about patients' conditions.
- Adhering to all healthcare regulations and standards.
- Assisting with pain management strategies for patients.
- Ensuring all medical equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistant will all be considered.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Infusion Nurse or a similar role in the medical field.
- Proficient knowledge of IV therapy, pain management, and rheumatology.
- Exceptional clinical and technical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Current CPR certification.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in nursing.
- Willingness to keep abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the medical field.
