Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role at Woolwich Gardens Assisted Living in Woolwich, NJ. Looking for qualified LPN's to work 6-2 or 2-10 shifts on Friday Saturday and Sunday (Every other weekend). and/or an LPN that is looking for a 6 am - 6 pm Every other Saturday & Sunday.
Can pick up extra shifts that are open when available.
Qualifications
- Administers medications and treatments to residents upon written order of a physician, in accordance with the State of New Jersey Nurse Practice Act. • Assumes responsibility for the organization of the nursing unit.
- Directs all questions regarding medications to the Registered Nurse.
- Provides direct nursing care as needed, in accordance with the nurse practice act N.J.A.C 13:37
- Assumes responsibility for direct care.
- Provides restorative nursing care as needed (i.e. bowel and bladder training, range of motion, etc.) in accordance with the nurse practice act N.J.A.C 13:37
- Monitors the needs of each resident and reports this information to the Director of Wellness.
- Monitors residents’ response to treatment, medication and nursing care.
- Assumes responsibility for observations, evaluations, and reporting of symptoms, reactions and progress to attending physician.
- Assigns duties and delegates responsibility to nursing personnel and activities related to nursing care.
- Provides a shift to shift report that includes necessary information for continuity of quality care.
- Promotes the concept of resident and family centered care.
- Coordinates nursing care with other resident care services.
- Assists in the organization and teaching of staff orientation and educational programs for personnel.
- Ensures residents’ rights are maintained.
