West Bend Juniors is looking for motivated and dedicated Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches at the Regional and Select level at the 12-18 age groups.
Coaches at every age play a critical role in the development of young athletes with a focus on and off court skill set development. Our Coaches establish a learning environment that supports the Juniors Volleyball Club culture and high expectations of the athlete experience we provide.
Juniors considers our coaches the leaders of our organization and are critical in setting and supporting our club's culture.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES RECOMMENDED
Minimum of 1 year of experience in delivering youth volleyball programs preferred, for a Head Coach. General volleyball knowledge required for an Assistant Coach.
Strong abilities to inspire and educate players and communicate effectively with other coaches
Able to be a part of a team of coaches and accept every coach at their level of training as well as help train other coaches
Effective communication skills with athletes, parents, and other coaches
Good organizational skills
Be dedicated to the success of our club and our athletes
Be competitive and compassionate
Ability to work independently
MAIN DUTIES
Enhance player development throughout 10-18 age groups
Responsible for obtaining, training and assisting athletes
Recruit and provide guidance for younger athletes to grow and flourish at West Bend Juniors
Organize and participate in-group athlete and coaching meetings
Responsible for organizing individual team volleyball plans
Must support the JVC Culture development procedures to ensure the highest level of athlete experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per year
