Position Description:
Purpose:
To Lead sanitation employees and ensuring a clean and sanitized facility to produce a safe, high-quality product.
Reports To: Sanitation Manager
Responsibilities:
- Assign sanitation personnel to and oversee the required cleaning responsibilities throughout the facility per their scheduled cleaning intervals.
- Verify Redzone Master Sanitation requirements are being sufficiently completed by sanitation employees and complete the documentation using an Apple iPad as tasks are accomplished.
- This encompasses the cleaning and sanitizing of all the GMP areas.
- Train employees in proper practices and in all areas to ensure adequate skill coverage.
Chemical Concentrations:
- Oversee that daily chemical titrations are in adherence to set specifications and verify documentation. Report any abnormalities or out of specifications to the Sanitation Supervisor or Manager.
Safety:
- Educate and direct personnel on the use of all required PPE, control points, equipment, and resources while maintaining compliance with established GMP's, policies and procedures to promote a safe and clean work environment.
- Assist maintenance by overseeing proper equipment use and requesting repairs as needed.

- Troubleshoot and repair sanitation systems, equipment, and tools.
- Acquire training in ATP Swabbing as well as other duties as warranted by Sanitation Manager
Authority:
- Leading & Coaching of Sanitation employees.
- Report any personnel problems to the Sanitation Supervisor.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Leadership, Integrity and the adherence to and promotion of Company Policy requirements.
- Knowledge of GMP's and Training/Certification in Food Safety Management & HACCP Principles.
- Familiarity with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP's).
- Ability to accurately complete records electronically in a timely fashion.
- Perform basic mathematics & use of Microsoft Office programs & software.
- Good communication skills and the capability to work in a team setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals (Safety Data Sheets) and supplies.
