Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide essential support and supervision to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities as well as Behavioral Health histories. This position plays a critical role in facilitating healthy and socially acceptable behaviors for our consumers living in community-based settings. The DSP will work closely with clinical staff, implement residential interventions, and assist clients in achieving their clinical goals.
Responsibilities:
- Direct Care:

- Supervise individuals according to their Person-Centered Support Plan.
- Support in activities of daily living such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and toileting.
- Assist in community integration activities including medical appointments and accessing social security.
- Administrative:

- Complete all required documentation accurately and timely.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor s degree preferred.
- Basic computer and internet literacy.
- Previous experience in the human services field is preferred.
- Valid driver s license.
- Must pass employment screenings, including FBI clearance if applicable.
Additional Details:
- This position does not require the administration of medication.
- The role does not involve direct work with minors or working in environments where minors are present.
