Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Growing public accounting firm in Troy, PA currently is seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent or tax preparer with 5+ years' experience. The position will be full time with additional hours necessary from January to April each year. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of financial duties related to client accounts. An ideal candidate will not only have a strong understanding of taxes, financial reporting and recordkeeping, but also will be detail-oriented, a good communicator in both written and verbal form, and responsible with confidential information.
Responsibilities:
a. CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred, but not required.
b. 5+ years experience in tax preparation, planning and accounting.
c. Preparation of individual, partnership, corporate and not-for-profit income tax returns.
d. Preparation of periodic financial statements.
e. Performance of compilation and review engagements.
f. Tax planning and advice for clients.
g. Significant autonomy in performance of job duties with limited supervision.
