Seeking a Director of Nursing position in Vancouver, WA.
Responsibilities:
Oversight: You’ll oversee all nursing services delivered within the Voluntary and Involuntary inpatient population.
Organize and Supervise: You’ll organize, direct, supervise, and evaluate all nursing staff.
Quality Improvement: Your role includes working to improve medical outcomes and enhance the quality of medical services provided.
Behavioral Health Experience: Previous experience with behavioral health populations is required.
Specific Duties:
Coordinate Medical Services: Collaborate with program directors and other necessary personnel.
Program Development: Aid in the development of new programs.
Policy Review: Regularly review and revise medical policies and procedures.
Record Keeping: Ensure accurate maintenance of records and reports related to patient care.
Staff Management: Direct orientation, training, supervision, and retention of nurses.
Physician Collaboration: Assist with physicians’ schedules to ensure daily coverage.
Compliance: Conduct rounds to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Emergency Availability: Provide 24-hour on-call availability for critical incidents and emergencies.
Supervision: Supervise LPNs, RNs, and MA/CNAs.
Qualifications:
Education: A BSN in Nursing is required.
Licensure: Registered in WA as a Registered Nurse.
