Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with college leadership on doctoral student issues and policies.
- Ensures COA accreditation requirements are met.
- Prepares and manages the program’s budget with leadership and financial staff.
- Works with faculty to maintain quality curriculum and instruction in the didactic phase.
- Leads accreditation efforts with COA and CCNE.
- Provides didactic instruction in the nurse anesthesia program.
- Oversees hiring, evaluation, and mentorship of program faculty and adjuncts.
- Coordinates new faculty orientation.
- Manages course development and student evaluations in nurse anesthesia.
- Engages stakeholders on program progress and evaluation.
- Ensures comprehensive clinical experiences with faculty and clinical sites.
- Supervises program evaluation.
- Maintains communication with academic and healthcare partners.
- Serves on Nursing Assessment and Graduate Team committees.

Salary:
- Starting salary of $109,824 and increases based on work history/experience
Education
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNAP, or EdD) from an accredited institution of higher education required.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of practice as a CRNA required.
- Experience in classroom instruction or nursing program leadership required.
- Evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Knowledge of curricular design to include experience in distance education and development of quality online programs preferred.
- Prior experience with program accreditation processes preferred.
- Prior experience with evaluation and outcomes assessment preferred.
License/Certification
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) though the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) required.
- Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid compact multistate license, or a temporary permit while awaiting licensure required.
- APRN-Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (APRN-CRNA) license in Nebraska required upon hire.
- Eligible for the Controlled Substance Registration Certification (CSRC) through the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Active member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology required.

- Proficient in software applications including but not limited to MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and internet and database applications such as Typhon Clinical Tracking System.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Some travel may be necessary, including overnight travel on occasion as required for practicum site visits and professional development.
