Position Summary: The Electrophysiology CV Technologist is a member of the Cath Lab/Electrophysiology (EP) team and works alongside the EP Cardiologist or Interventional Cardiologist and Registered Nurse to deliver direct patient care, before, during and after interventional/diagnostic cath lab and EP cases. Ability to function in all three rolls (scrub, circulator assist, and recorder) in all interventional/diagnostic cath lab and EP cases and be able to operate the equipment in the cath lab and EP lab.
Qualifications:
• Associate s degree in Health Science (cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or ultrasound)
• 1 year of cardiac cath / EP lab experience preferred
• Certified as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Cardiac Interventional Radiographer (CI), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiographer (CV) , or Vascular Interventional Radiographer (VI)
• ACLS/PALS/BLS within one year of hire
Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift, Weekend work & call is required.
