Position Description
The Nursing Assistant (NA), under the direction of a licensed staff, gathers data for the patient, provides basic nursing care according to the plan of care. The NA accurately obtains post operative vital signs, encourages coughing and deep breathing and observes for and reports bleeding, redness, swelling or separation to surgical sites. Accurately maintains and records intake and output. Maintains patient rooms and nursing unit in a clean, organized and environmentally safe manner.
Position Qualifications
- CPR
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification or equivalent
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Basic Computer Skills
Shift: Nights
Hours: 7p-7a
Pay range: $21.16 hourly
Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
