Description for Business Development Representative:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential clients, nurturing leads, and scheduling initial discovery meetings for our executive team. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for driving business growth.
Responsibilities for Business Development Representative:
- Prospect and qualify potential clients according to the ideal client profile.
- Research and add prospect companies and contacts to the CRM system.
- Run targeted sales campaign sequences to engage prospects.
- Conduct cold calling and cold emailing to generate leads and schedule meetings.
- Listen for sales opportunities and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services.
- Build and manage a sales funnel to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Business Development team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Achieve and exceed monthly quotas for booked discovery meetings.
Requirements for Business Development Representative:
- Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in Business Administration,
- Marketing, or related field. Will consider non-degreed candidates with applicable experience.
- 2+ years proven experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques and processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
