The Opportunity:
The ideal candidate will manage, in partnership with the Regional Manager and local store team, ongoing development of the multiple counter teams at multiple retailer location (SAKS, NEIMAN MARCUS, NORDSTROM, BERGDORF GOODMAN, etc.), while building strong relationships and team spirit across the business with each store management. In this role the primary accountability is to drive sales and brand customer experience in the Tri State area (Bergen County, Willowbrook, White Plains, Huntington, American Dream, Garden State Plaza, Paramus, Westchester, & Short Hills)

People:
- Motivate and coach Counter teams to deliver on-brand experience and excel in product knowledge (through regular trainings) and use of clienteling strategies.
- Onboard and train new hires.
- Facilitate local events and masterclasses, in partnership with KAM, marketing and education teams to develop concept, ROI and event materials and activations.
- Partner with Counter Manager, Regional Managers, and Human Resources to resolve any employee relations situations
- Embody BYREDO values through proper grooming, language/storytelling and behaviors to deliver a unique, on-brand client experience.
- Build & maintain strong team culture between retailer’s employees working on BYREDO and BYREDO’s dedicated employees, ensuring smooth customer experience.
- Optimize store schedule, organizing and planning activities to ensure maximization of resources.
- Support in preparation and delivery of daily briefings, sharing and explaining store performance + sales targets to the team.
- Maintain knowledge of key competitors and industry trends and train the team on the key factors.
- Communicate any information relevant to BYREDO market, events, promotion, etc.
- Provide feedback to floor management on store performance, events, opportunities, etc.
Operations:
- Personally contribute to achievement of sales (retailer sell out) budget & KPIs in each location by being present in store, leading by example, selling and coaching teams to meet/exceed sell-out targets.
- Track and maintain regional budget for samples, testers, POSM, events, and freelance spend in addition to personal T&E spend to remain within budget in all areas.
- Prepare and execute seasonal strategies with RSM and Store Management to identify and prioritize opportunities: retail events, outreach opportunities, brand new product launches, local events etc.
- Contribute to daily/weekly/monthly business analysis and reporting as requested.
- Partner with the RSM on the development and implementation of local action plans to achieve sales goals.
- Ensure compliance with all BYREDO policies and procedures.
We'd love to meet you if you have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in Luxury Goods, Beauty, and/or Fashion
- Expertise in retailer clienteling tools, leveraging to improve client experience and reach sales target
- Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Very strong organizational and detail skills
- Makes operational decisions and executes accordingly
- Takes initiative and has excellent communication and follow up skills
- Takes a collaborative and proactive approach, leading by example
- Demonstrates willingness to learn and grow
- Possess a strong analytical and creative process
- Experience/relationships with some, or all, of the following partners: Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bloomingdales, and/ or Holt Renfrew
Compensation:
As required by New York State's salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $100,000.00. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
