JOB SUMMARY
The customer solutions representative oversees their portfolio of assigned customers, develops new business from existing
customers, and actively seeks new business opportunities. The position will collaborate with the sales team to develop and
maintain strong relationship(s) with H3 Customers. It will also provide support to customers, suggesting technical
solutions according to customer needs, handle customer inquiries, and process new customer RFQ’s and orders.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the lead point of contact for assigned customer account(s) acting as liaison between customer, sales, and
production.
Build rapport with customers to create trust and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships.
Develop new business with existing customer(s) and/or identify areas of improvement, to grow the account organically.
Ensure complete and accurate processing and expediting of job orders.
Complete quotes including price, availability, delivery time, and other information as needed.
Post-order activities: delivery updates, quality issues, return authorizations, and other concerns as needed.
Resolve product/service challenges by clarifying customer concern, identifying root cause, providing solution,
expediting corrective action, and following up, to ensure satisfactory resolution.
Compile and maintain accurate actionable sales reporting, on customer account statuses
Achieve department metrics including but not limited to; timely/responsive communications, approachable service/solution
attitude, order accuracy, backlog review in ERP
Monitor inventory requirements against customer order demand.
Partner with marketing and management to refine lead qualification processes.
Recommend potential product/service opportunities to management.
KEY COMPETENCIES
Strong customer service background, with exposure manufacturing (technical/mechanical knowledge) preferred
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with competing timelines, while maintaining a level head, in a fastpaced environment
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail/accuracy, project management with sound judgment and good
decision-making abilities, for critical decisions regarding customer orders
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ Years in customer service (B2B) or inside sales experience, metal and/or manufacturing environment preferred
o (i.e., CNC machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, etc.)
Experience with Epicor ERP system, preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications; Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
