He is filling a Director of Pricing & Contracting with an Oncology focused pharmaceutical organization local to Boston, MA. They are a highly innovative oncology organization dedicated to developing innovative therapies that address unmet medical needs in cancer treatment. The organization has an extremely exciting pipeline of assets along with a successful commercialized product in place.
The Director of Pricing and Contracting will oversee the development and implementation of pricing strategies and contracting frameworks for our pharmaceutical products. This role is critical in maximizing revenue and market access while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Strategy Development: Design and execute comprehensive pricing strategies for new and existing pharmaceutical products to optimize profitability and market share. Utilize market analysis, competitive intelligence, and value-based pricing principles.
- Contract Negotiation and Management: Lead negotiations with payers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to establish favorable contract terms. Manage contract lifecycle including renewals, amendments, and compliance monitoring.
- Market Access Strategy: Collaborate with market access teams to develop and implement strategies that support product reimbursement and access. Analyze payer policies, formulary decisions, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
