Our HR Consulting Division is seeking an HR Consultant, with an expertise in Benefits and Leave Administration. This is preferably a full-time opportunity that is located in Macedon, NY, and offers a hybrid work schedule. The assignment will be approximately six months. Please note the role is located onsite. POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, the Consultant plans and carries out policies relating to all phases of Benefits and Leave Administration activity for our client by utilizing expertise in a variety of areas, including:
- Data Tracking and Record-Keeping
- Full Benefit and Leave Administration, including 401k, Open enrollment, HRIS management, Broker and Vendor management, etc.
- Regulatory Compliance and Safety
- Compensation and Benefits
- Employee Relations
- Professional Development and Coaching
- Policy interpretation and Compliance
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Current knowledge of State and Federal employment law, including experience with practical application and interpretation of
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to research, analyze and make recommendations.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Flexibility, adaptability and a readiness to jump in and contribute.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and/or payroll system(s), ADP experience preferred but not required.
- Availability during typical business hours, Monday - Friday.
- PHR/SHRM-CP Certification or other related certifications desired (i.e. CEBS, CCP)
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- At least five (5) years progressive HR Manager experience is required, with extensive experience leading Benefits and Leave Administration within a mid-size organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or related field, or associate degree with commensurate experience required.
