Job Title: HR Manager - Employee Relations

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Manager with a focus on employee relations and a strong background within a manufacturing environment. With at least 7 years of experience in human resources management, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, and implementing strategies to foster a positive and productive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Employee Relations:
- Lead and manage the employee relations function, handling complex workplace issues including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Provide guidance and support to supervisors and managers in effectively managing employee relations and ensuring consistent application of company policies.
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and ensure resolution in a fair and legally compliant manner.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, job satisfaction, and retention.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing leadership, training, and development opportunities to enhance their performance and growth.
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, ensuring the team meets objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
- Facilitate effective communication between HR staff and other departments to support business objectives and foster collaboration.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Regularly update and enforce HR policies in response to changes in legislation or business needs, ensuring that policies reflect best practices in the industry.
- Partner with legal counsel and external consultants to address complex employee relations issues while minimizing risks.
- Workforce Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business goals.
- Analyze trends and metrics related to employee relations and use data to make informed decisions and recommendations to leadership.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a management role
- Strong expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements within a manufacturing setting
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing HR teams and improving organizational performance
